Visionless+Noiseless

I came across a family of blind today.Actual blinds, parents were completely blind, they have 3 children, all partially blind.Wonderful manners and their wonderful sense of touch really amazed me.Its misfortunate having a blind member, but whole family was blind.Another was a deaf and mute couple, but he could see and she was the same.Nope,I wasnt in a hospital,it's just everyday streets and they were there behaving and going about like normal persons.

Will they be able to know the new products that comes out,the lastest news, how to describe a certain service or a product they need, how do they get people to deliver gas or simple things ?They dont, they have their own ways of getting about and living the best of everything.
After my conversation with them,I pondered about many things, what if I go blind, deaf or mute one day? Will I take it in my stride like how these wonderful people are doing? My confidence went immediate zero,I don't know how I will handle it.They live in their own world and they are really strong, even if everything is dark or of absolute silence.

I admired them for who they are and never looked down on them. When I was doing voluntary work at old folks home,I felt for them, but not as much as these people I met today.
They are the cool jude people still living in the world, with no aims for any thing materialistic, just a plain ol' life..And they dont have to make the tough decisions of getting an iPOD,iShuffle,LCD or plasma television, they just need determination and will....Is this the kinda simple life everyone is talking about?
